Lipikaar Firefox Extension (version – 0.4.0) supports 18 languages – Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Assamese, Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Nepali, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Arabic and Urdu.
Does your Firefox version support all the above languages ? To check, disable your Lipikaar addon. Now press Ctrl-Alt-H. The Help panel will be loaded with the Indic script chart. Compare the two columns to see which languages are rendered correctly on your Firefox.
If you can’t view any of the scripts – it is either because you don’t have complex text layout enabled or don’t have appropriate fonts installed on your system.
